Happy New Year Fellow Birders!

Wishing all of you good birds in 2012 it looks as though everyone is off
to a good start!

If you haven't done so already, be sure to check out The Ohio Ornithological
Society's new website. www.ohiobirds.org
We have special discounts on our memberships during the month of January, so
be sure and join and renew today!

I also wanted to let you know that we have a few spaces left for the OOS
Wilds Extravagant on the 14th of this month. The upcoming weather does not
look as brutal as in years past and there have been several posts of good
sightings in the area. Golden Eagle, Rough-legged Hawks, Short-eared Owls,
Northern Harriers and American Kestrels to name a few. Also, with the
warming temperatures early in the week, it may open up some water for some
good waterfowl.

Please RSVP to [log in to unmask] to reserve your space today.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Jen Sauter
President, Ohio Ornithological Society
