[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 1 Jun 2012 05:39:29 -0700646_utf-8 Spring is over, at least for the Ohio Cardinal.  Please send your March, April, and May sightings to Craig Caldwell, 1270 W. Melrose Dr., Westlake, OH, 44145 or craig_caldwellATsbcglobal.net (substitute the “@” symbol for “AT”).  Please note that these addresses are changed from last season.  In addition to sightings, we welcome photos, anecdotes, general interest articles, and research papers.  If you enter your sightings into eBird, you do not need to send us a report – we editors download the whole season’s entries from the eBird database.   The deadline is June 21.  Thank you in advance.   Craig Caldwell [...]49_1Jun201205:39:[log in to unmask]

All but one of my Tree Swallows have fledged. The adults are gone. Now there is a House Sparrow building a nest while the other non-fledged Tree Swallow is still in the nest! It seems healthy, but not sure how long he can last. Is there anything I can do or just let nature run its course? Thanks in advance. Spencer
