Quick highlights from the northern part of the state: a ridiculously cooperative WHIP-POOR-WILL visible from the pier at Huron, along with a flyby BRANT; on the Huron River flats: L. Yellowlegs (30), L-b Dowitcher (11), Pec. Sandpiper (15), L. Sandpiper (7), Semi Plover (6), and late Spotted Sandpiper (1); along the Cedar Point Causeway L-b Dowitcher (2) and Stilt Sandpiper (1); at Pickerel: Peregrine Falcon, and little else.
Sherrie Duris has great pics of the Whip, which will posted on Rarebird later on.
Good birding -
