Some new arrivals in our State's southern counties found yesterday:
  Ovenbird 3
  American Redstart 18
  Prairie Warbler 16
  Northern Parula 12
  Cerulean Warbler 1
  Wood Thrush 1
  Red-eyed Vireo 6
  Chimney Swift 5

Typical numbers of other birds. Migration is still several days behind normal arrival dates. I've enjoyed birding in southern Ohio this year getting a head start on my year list and watching warblers a few weeks earlier than if I simply stayed in the Cleveland area - thanks to the recommendations of many of you.

  Enjoy this great weather everyone!
