Phil Chaon just called (noon on Monday April 20) to say that there are two Franklin's Gulls on Benton-Carroll Road, on the second pond south of Route 2, on the west side of the road. For those not familiar with the area, Benton-Carroll Rd is just a short distance east of the turnoff to Magee Marsh Wildlife Area from Rt 2 in Ottawa County, northwest Ohio, and it has been a good spot for many ducks and shorebirds for the last few weeks.
