Early on in the afternoon of Tuesday [11/19], as if by magic, both
White-throated and White-crowned Sparrows appeared in our wonderful winter
bird feeding area here in south central Huron County (sw of Greenwich).
White-throateds appear off/on as regulars during winter feeding. However(and
for the past 30 years), it has been common for a flock of 6 or 8
White-crowneds to spend the entire winter with us..and what a treat that has
been!
