Today I birded several areas in the Killbuck wildlife area near Shreve and
the Funk Bottoms area along Wilderness Rd and Hwy 95. These areas are quite
flooded with water levels as high as I have seen in awhile. I saw a total
of 19 species of waterfowl combined at these places. Numbers of ring-necked
ducks exceeded all other species combined. Counts are best estimates of
what I saw from 1 - 5pm. Randy Rowe, Wooster
