I checked the Struthers - Lowellville section of the Mahoning River again today. There were a few different birds from a couple days ago. Highlights were: 300 Canada geese, 2 Am. black ducks, 12 ring-necked ducks, 2 lesser scaup, 2 buffleheads, 4 c. goldeneyes, 6 hooded mergansers, 2 ruddy ducks, pied-billed grebe, and 6 Am. coots. In Poland/Coitsville Twps. I saw red-shouldered hawk and Am. kestrel. Craig Holt, Lowellville
