Subject: Success at Margaret Peak and Sandy Ridge!
11 Dickcissels for the day! All singing up a storm. One pair of yellow-billed cuckoos calling back and forth just for kicks at Sandy Ridge. Wanted to check out Margaret Peak for a long time; finally made it today. I like it. Had 3 Dickcissels and a nice male Orchard Oriole. Great place for dragons and butterflies too. Sandy Ridge on the way home was very surprising! Eight Dickcissels singing and a pair of Yellow-billed Cuckoos calling back and forth between 1-2PM. Great day and good company.
