This morning the Jackson Field area (South Chagrin section of Cleveland
Metroparks) was just dancing with birds. Nothing exotic or unusual but all that
flying and perching and chirping and whatnot does get the old heart
a-pumping. My favorites were:

- a huge crowd of Cedar Waxwings
- several Eastern Bluebirds
- 3 species of woodpecker, including two Pileateds
- just as I was leaving, finally some sparrows -- Tree, Song and several
Fields (oh so pretty!)

SWagner, PPike
