Started the moring out here in Allen County with a walk behind my house. right away I ran into a Black and White Warbler. Walking on back came across 2 American Redstart females. Heard a Pileated. All the usuals moving about . Then I loaded up and went to the fish hatchery. 4 great egrets were there as well as some shorebirds in pond 7 . Couple Dowitchers and some sandpipers . With this pond having been drained I look for more to show up . Also many kildeer. 2 Kingfishers. Over at Mercer Wildlife area , nothing. Had a Redtail Hawk on the wire just before I turned in there. On around on 127 headed into Celina where the stone pulloff along 127 is there were 3 more great egrets in there. On to West Bank park area back in where the turn around is straight out on the lake there is an island. A dead tree there had a blue heron at the top , in the middle an Osprey and on the bottom another blue heron and cormorant. Russell Lima, Ohio
