Hello all,

In my haste last night I forgot to mention that I also had a drake Redhead on Middle Harbor yesterday, at the north end near the mudflat. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the increase in boat and human traffic that forced him into Middle Harbor from somewhere else locally, maybe even East or West Harbor.

I also wanted to mention the growing number of terns (and gulls to a lesser extent) that loaf at the NE corner of Middle Harbor. In one of my highest counts yet, I tallied no fewer than 185 Caspian Terns and about 400 Common Terns.

Good birding,
Justin
