WOW! What a great day for waterfowl at LaDue Reservoir in Geauga County. You should try to get here this weekend - a scope helps but the bulk of the ducks can be seen from Valley Road. Start your viewing at the boat house and go north to keep the sun behind you. 18 species of waterfowl so far. As I write this I am seeing my first Common Loon of 2017. 2 Trumpeter Swans are here for the second day in a row. Eagles sitting on nest (north side of dam - nest tree to the right of spillway).
