Spotted an handsome male eastern towhee last evening, leaving the office,
at E 12 & Rockwell, downtown Cleve.
Today at Sandy Ridge Reservation:
Wilson's snipe (12-15, lifer) meadow trails near picnic shelter
Tree swallows
American robins
Red-winged blackbirds
Blue-winged teal
Green-winged teal
Tufted titmouse
Golden-crowned kinglet (3)
Downy woodpecker
Canada Geese - nesting trailside, might want a stick w/you
Mallards
Song Sparrow
Black-capped chickadees
Ring-necked ducks
Wood ducks
Pied-billed grebes
American Coots
Buffleheads
Gadwalls
Black Duck
Mute Swan
Northern shovelers
American wigeons
Northern cardinal
Starlings
Turkey vulture
Great blue heron
Drive-by spotting: 5 wild turkeys in east Avon on Detroit this afternoon.
