Heading south on 23 from Lewis Center (Powell Road) in Delaware County, I
saw a flock of 50 birds in an undulating line. With no chance to stop and
look very closely, I believe they were Sandhill Cranes. They were heading
west and turned south at 23. They flew over Highbanks Metro Park and into
Franklin County. I got stuck in the construction traffic so do not know
where they went from there.
