Just one day after posting that the last pine siskin of the winter-spring
season was seen at my home in northwestern Hocking County on May 14, I
looked out the window this afternoon(Thursday, May 19)and there on the
thistle feeder was an adult male. It also fed on black oiler sunflower
seeds in a nearby feeder on a post.
