Yesterday morning Rick Asamoto and I checked out the Caesar Creek beach which, escept for an adult Herring Gull, had only the usual flock of 100 or more Ring-billed Gulls. Very far over on the lake there were four Common Loons, which may have been juveniles. A lone Osprey also flew over the lake carrying a good-sized fish. Whether it was one of the residents or a migrant is anyone's guess.
Rainy Day Cheers, Larry Gara
