Today I spotted one eared grebe at Prairie Oaks Metro Park.  The bird was 
tagging along with three American Coots that didn't seem to care much.  
The bird always traveled roughly twenty feet behind the coots though.  If 
you're interested in seeing the bird, go to the Darby Twin lakes 
entrance.  Check the larger pond on the left that does not allow boating.
