Since a local birder reported 2 Brant on the Ohio River at Willow Island L & D, OH side yesterday, my husband and I decided to run up and check it out. We did not see the Brant, but my husband thought he heard them. I had way too many hats on to hear much. Visibility was really bad. We moved up stream to Newell's Run and found a Drake Wood Duck along with the Pied-billed Grebes, Gadwall, Hooded Mergansers and Cormorants.
