Sunday, Aug. 31 - 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

WILSON'S PHALAROPE - 1
AM. GOLDEN PLOVER - 2
SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER - 2
Possibly buff-breasted sp.--bad light, uncooperative bird
Least sp. - 3
Semipalmated sp. - 2
Solitary sp. - 2
Lesser yellowlegs - 18
Spotted sp. - 2
Great egret - 2
Greater yellowlegs - 3
Pectoral sp. - 2
Killdeer - lots!
Chimney swifts - 30
Coopers & red-tailed hawks
Baltimore oriole
Cedar waxwings
Turkey vultures
Most of the "regular" stuff

The north end of the lake is completely dried up.  All good sightings  were
from the south end and center of the lake road.  We've lost our  Sibley's Guide
at Englewood Metropark on Saturday, Aug. 30.  If found,  please reply
offline.
