An immature male rufous hummingbird is visiting a yard in Bluffton, Allen
County. The homeowner has said birders are welcome. The directions are at
www.rarebird.org in a thread entitled "rufous hummer" in the Toledo Area Rare
Bird Alert forum. Allen Chartier was there today to band the bird, and it was
he apparently who confirmed the ID.

Happy birding,

Paul Gardner
Columbus, OH
