I birded along Vantage Point road in the Mound Technology Center in Miamisburg this afternoon. Two Lark Sparrows flew to the ground between the sidewalk and the bushes near the railroad tracks. The white outer tail feathers were clearly seen. I also saw the distinct facial pattern before they flew back into the vegetation. There were also two Blue Grosbeaks in the area – one being an adult male.
