For the past few weeks, I have been seeing an adult Peregrine Falcon in the area of the Valleyview Bridge over I-480 near Cleveland. Most of the time, I have seen the falcon sitting on one of the large advertisement signs just North of the bridge. I have not had a chance to stop in the area (I just see the falcon while driving on I-480 to/from work) to see if there is a pair of falcons here, or if this is just a "loner". The underside of the Valleyview bridge does not seem to be very conducive for a Peregrine nest. Does anyone know if ODNR has any plans for placing a nest box at this bridge site?
