About 3:15 today I saw a 2nd-cycle Glaucous Gull & a 1st-cycle Lesser
Black-backed Gull at the Crawford County landfill. I was parked on Peterman
road, which has almost no traffic. Peterman is the first north-side road
west of the landfill off the Lincoln hiway (Co. rd. 330). I was about 1/4
mile north of the Lincoln hiway. The gulls were sitting, near the ridge of
the landfill. Also a couple hundred herring gulls.
Good birding,
John Herman
