I also was at Conneaut this morning and saw most of the birds mentioned
previously. In addition I had a 1 lesser scaup, a flyby flock of over 120
common mergansers, 1 red-breasted merganser, a flyby common loon, peregrine
falcon, 8 black-bellied plovers, 1 American golden plover, 1 Baird's
sandpiper, and lesser black-backed gull.
I also stopped at Ashtabula Harbor. There I had a couple redheads. There
was nothing of note at Geneva State Park. I saw lots of gulls everywhere,
but other than great black-backed, herring and ring-billed and the lesser
black-backed at Conneaut, the only other one was a single Bonaparte's gull.
