A very brief stop at E. 72nd St. At 4:45 pm,, for 20 minutes, turned up a second cycle Iceland Gull and five Lesser Black-backed Gulls amidst a horde of 9,500 Herring and 12,000+ Ring-billed Gulls and 200+ Great Black-backs at the hotwaters and beyond to the icepack edge that extends to the far breakwall. No doubt with several hours to a days worth of birding this spot could turn up some serious rarities.
