There was a fair amount of movement today with a lot of mergansers in the
area. There must have been some fish in the area because a few flocks
dropped down to feed and doing so attracted more birds. Searching these
flocks paid off with a female long-tailed duck.
The feeders had a flock of 6 common redpolls. There was no sign of the
white-winged crossbill over the last three days
