Unfortunately it turned out to be a crappy day with rain or drizzle the whole time I was there, so birding was limited. The water level is finally being let down there, and mudflats are beginning to appear at the north end near Pancoastburg. WooHoo! This bird has made our day! What a way to cheer up a soggy dreary
day! It's been here for 2 days and has found all 3 feeders. It's typically
feisty and chasing off any birds that come near it. I hope it will hang out
awhile. Back to my bins.
