Today there were some Brown Creepers and a Bay-breasted Warbler mixed
with the kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers. Other highlights
included a Bald Eagle that landed in a tree near the path, 50-75
Mallards, a flock of 100 Rusty Blackbirds, and a lonely Great Blue
Heron. There were several large flocks of Double-crested Cormorants
over the lake that appeared to be heading for the Huron harbor.
