A couple of nice finds on this morning’s hikes. During the weekly bird survey at West Creek Reservation in Parma, Ohio I had a beauty of a Savannah Sparrow and as I was wrapping up the survey, a Solitary Sandpiper flew into the wetland area. At Cuyahoga Valley National Park: Scenic Railroad Rockside Station in Independence, Ohio there were a pair of Broad-winged Hawks and a FOY Gray Catbird.
