Greetings,
Brief East 55th/72nd Street/Gordon update as of 11:30 a.m. No sign of adult basic Slaty-backed from yesterday evening.
Be aware that there are MANY adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls around, as is a Great Black-backed x Herring hybrid.
Reported this morning from East 55th Marina proper:
Lesser Black-backed Gull - at least 8 adults, one 2nd-cycle bird, and one first-cycle birdGlaucous Gull - at least 2 first-cycle birds and an adultGreat Black-backed Gull - at least 60 adults, 40 first-cycles, and multiple 2nd and 3rd cycles
Ring-billed, Herring, and Bonaparte's Gulls (30 of the latter)
As I'm tied to the office today, I'll do my best to update with more reports I hear from the field.
