I have gotten questions about where Deer Creek is. For crying out loud. I have been posting sightings to this list serve from there for years. Occasionally I have gone in depth with directions and provided links to maps. Does everyone really have to do that every single time they post here? I do think that every birder in the state should have a good knowledge of the ODNR website and know how to find the maps there. It's pretty much as essential as owning binoculars if you ask me. The main page for ODNR is here : http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/ You can get maps for all the state wildlife areas on this page : http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/Home/wild_resourcessubhomepage/WildlifeAreaMapsLandingPage/tabid/19694/Default.aspx Deer Creek's map is here : http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/Home/wild_resourcessubhomepage/WildlifeAreaMaps/CentralOhioWildlifeAreas/DeerCreekWildlifeArea/tabid/19698/Default.aspx You can get all state forest maps here : http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/tabid/5320/Default.aspx Need a state park, state nature reserve, yep they're all there too.
