At about 10:45AM I had a Red-throated Loon and Red-necked Grebe at the Park. Not in the southern marina parking lot but in Picnic Area B, just down from the Marina. Go behind the picnic shelter to a point with Pin Oaks. Good vantage point to scan the lake. The Red-throated Loon was in the company of 2 Common Loons. Provided a very good comparison! As I was watching the Loons, in flew a Red-necked Grebe. Great morning. Thanks Larry.
Also side tracked to Middlefield on the way home. Hayes Rd. yielded 2 Rough-legged Hawks ( one dark morph), 1 Redtail and 15 Horned Larks.
