East 72nd was a little slow with only about 1500 birds present. There were
a few decent things though. Best of which was the common goldeneye x hooded
merganser originally found last week. Also present were single Thayer's
(adult), Iceland (2nd cycle), and lesser black-backed gull (adult).
The Oregon junco showed up again late this afternoon at my home in North
Perry, Lake County. It was with a nice sized group of dark-eyed juncos and
tree sparrows.
