I birded Evans L. and Pine L. this afternoon.  Best bird was an ad. lesser black-backed gull at Evans L.  Also seen there were bufflehead, 200 hooded mergansers, 30 common mergansers, 20 ruddy ducks, 11 pied-billed grebes, 2500 ring-billed gulls, and 25 herring gulls.  Pine L. had 14 Am. black ducks, 160 mallards, 48 ring-necked ducks, 22 buffleheads, 15 hooded mergansers, 25 common mergansers, 50 ruddy ducks, Cooper's hawk, bald eagle, and Am. coots.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
