Birders saw some nice birds today on the boardwalk at Magee Marsh.  Here is
our final list for the day from all the birders who stopped-in at BSBO.

Boardwalk warblers today - 12 species seen by birders today.
1. Yellow
2. Magnolia
3. Black-throated Blue
4. Blackburnian
5. Blackpoll
6. American Redstart
7. Prothonotary - at least 4 males singing
8. Ovenbird
9. Common Yellowthroat
10. Wilson's
11. Canada
12. Mourning

Boardwalk Flycatchers today- 10 species seen by birders WOW
1. Eastern Wood Pewee
2. Eastern Phoebe
3. Yellow-bellied Fly
4. Acadian Fly
5. Alder Fly
6. Great-crested Fly
7. Least Fly
8. Willow Fly
9. Olive-sided Fly
10. Eastern Kingbird

Other birds seen today.
1. Warbling Vireo
2. Red-eyed Vireo
3. Black-billed Cuckoo
4. Yellow-billed Cuckoo
5. Blue-gray Gnatcatchers - nesting
6. Cedar Waxwings
7. Black-crowned Night Herons & Green Herons
8. Spotted Sandpipers
9. Ruddy Turnstones - last night I saw 36 on the beaches; most I ever seen.
10. Common Terns
11. Gray-cheeked, Swainson's, & Hermit Thrush, Veery and American Robin.
12. White-throated, Song, and Swamp Sparrows.
