Highlights:

E. 72nd St. -
Lesser Black-backed Gull 2 (ad, 1st winter)

Marina adjacent to Cleveland Public Power ("whale
building") -
Northern Shoveler 6 (2 m, 4 f) very odd - probably
the largest concentration I've seen along the lake -
probably mild weather-related

Burke Lakefront Airport -
Rough-legged Hawk 2 hunting along the northern edge

Ridgewood Golf Course (Parma) -
Merlin 1

Birded E 72nd and 55th with the Kirtland Bird Club.
Spent some time in Parma looking for the Cackling
Goose seen earlier in the week by Dave LeGallee. He
saw the bird at Ridgewood Lake but I couldn't locate
it here or a couple other locations. However, it
could definitely still be around with the goose
flocks.

Good birding -
