After my tennis lesson in Wooster, I went birding with my dad around Wayne
County. Spring is here!
Silver Rd.
-TUNDRA SWANS (large group in field)
-Ring-billed Gulls
-Horned Lark
-Canada Goose
-Mallard
(further up the road in a decent sized pond)
-Canvasback
-Ring-necked Duck
-Scaup species
-Green-winged Teal
-BLUE-WINGED TEAL
Wright Marsh/Killbuck
-same duck species plus Redheads (didn't have a scope to see the ducks
further out)
-TREE SWALLOW
-YELLOWLEGS (I think it was a Greater, but it was a good distance away, took
some pictures and will look at them soon)
-Red-winged Blackbirds
American Kestrels
Turkey Vultures and Red-tailed Hawks were common at all locations.
These birds were seen along with other common species.
Good Birding!
