While birding the Huron City Pier today, Judy Kolo-Rose and I located a female or immature Long-tailed Duck. It was fraternizing with an American Coot along the breakwall near the lighthouse.
Also, 11 Great Black-backed Gulls were noted along with the regular mix of Ring-billed, Herring and Bonaparte's Gulls. Greater Scaup, Hooded Mergansers and Red-breasted Mergansers were also present and 4 Tundra Swans flew over.
