As I walked down the long path from the parking lot and curved to the left on the dike of the far large pond, I passed several others coming out who had seen the bird. Out on the dike, I met Su Snyder and Sue Evanoff. We looked for the godwit for 30 minutes or so but did not find it. An Amish teen came along with his scope and we all looked further. White ibis is currently (8/8-4:05pm) at the east end of the beach at Deer Creek State Park with Canada Geese and some Ring-billed gulls.
