Today I went on an off trail hike at Highbanks and got to see parts of the
wetlands I never saw before. The species I saw were ring-necked duck,
wood duck, ruddy duck, blue-winged teal, redhead, mallard, and killdeer.
Also seen in the nature preserve was a pileated woodpecker.
