There was a snowy owl on State Route 83 in Grafton this morning. The owl
was on the east side of the road, across from Grafton Penitentiary. She
landed in the field, just past the ditch at the side of the road as I was
headed South down Route 83. I turned the car around to go back for a second
look. As I approached and slowed the car down, she took off and flew east
from the road. It looked like she landed in the same field, but further
from the road.
