Al Parker, naturalist at The Wilds,
http://www.thewilds.org/Conservation/animals/birding/update.asp ,
reports that a golden eagle has returned, with sightings near the
Overlook on Nov 25, 28, and 29. If this or another remains for the
season, this will mark the 11th consecutive year this species has
wintered there.
