There is some shorebird habitat at Medusa Marsh in Erie County.
This morning I found least and semi-palmated sandpiper, semi-palmated plover, spotted sandpiper, and killdeer.
Also lots of herons and egrets including a couple of snowy egrets.
Many Pied-billed grebes and the trumpeter swan family was out, still with 5 young cygnets.
Will keep an eye on this spot to see what else might drop in.
Happy Birding!
Mary Warren
