Of at least local interest in Mahoning Co. this morning: around home in Poland/Coitsville Twps. a migrant osprey flew over, many more chimney swifts have arrived, singing FOS wood thrush, and a couple rose-breasted grosbeaks at my feeders. It snowed here this morning, too. The willet reports from the western half of Ohio today are pretty amazing - sounds like shorebirds are being grounded. Days like this in May were often excellent at Conneaut in past years. Craig Holt, Lowellville
