This AM the Franklin's Gull was seen amidst the huge flock of Ring-bills on the Caesar Creek beach, There were also 4 Bonaparte's Gulls and 3 Herring Gulls present. Most of the Ring-bills are adults.
Seeing that Franklin's is always exciting but to add to the excitement yesterday our
Red-breasted Nuthatch greeted us at the backyard feeder. If past experience is any clue we will have at least one throughout the winter.
