There is excellent shorebird habitat at the north end of Delaware Reservoir (Delaware County).  To view it park in the parking area off of SR 229 on the east shore.  
 
Some birds present this evening (8/31):
 
8     Caspian Terns
1     Osprey
36   Stilt Sandpipers 
100  Killdeer
15   Greater Yellowlegs
~80 Lesser Yellowlegs
14   Solitary Sandpiper
3     Pectoral Sandpiper
2     Least Sandpiper 
1     Semipalmated Sandpiper
