I had some good luck along the Mahoning R. in Struthers again yesterday, finding Am. black duck, 6 drake ring-necked ducks, 5 hooded mergansers, Am. kestrel, e. bluebird, Am. robins, and 10 cedar waxwings. At my feeders in Poland Twp., Mahoning Co. the last couple days 1 pine siskin and a male common grackle were of note. I checked Evans L. and Pine L. also, they are all frozen up. The outflow area at the north end of Pine L. has a little open water, and a belted kingfisher was toughing it out there. Later, Craig
