An extremely late COMMON REDPOLL was at my feeders in North Perry, Lake
County this morning. It was in amongst a swarm of over 100 pine siskins
that were also coming to the feeders. This is at least three days in a row
that I have had huge swarms of siskins. The redpoll was present off and on
for about a half hour. I was not around most of the day so I don't know if
it hung around later. I also have at least 7 orchard orioles, 10+
Baltimore orioles, 4-5 ruby-throated hummingbirds, a red-headed woodpecker,
and a late junco coming to the feeders.
