I had a first spring male Blue Grosbeak frequenting my feeders this evening
on this farm in rural Morgan County (DeLorme 70 D2). In addition, there were
SEVEN Rose-breasted Grosbeaks around the feeders as well 4M, 3F. I
digiscoped both species at the feeders at the same time. Yellow, Common
Yellowthroat, Prairie and Blue-winged Warblers are all singing on territory.
I've had two very vocal Great Crested Flycatchers in the yard for the past
three days. I hope they stick around. Yesterday, I had two White-crowned
Sparrows eating dandelion seeds 20 feet from the deck in front of the house.
